Milton Margai University Honors Best Graduate, Ms. Dumbuya

Milton Margai Technical University (MMTU) has announced Ms. Bintu Dumbuya, a student from the Faculty of Education's B.Ed Program, as the Overall Best Graduating Student for the Class of 2024/2025.

Ms. Dumbuya achieved this distinguished honor by completing her studies with an exceptional Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.90 out of a possible 5.00, a record that underscores her dedication, academic brilliance, and consistent excellence.

The prestigious award and a sum of Nle 33,000 was formally presented to her by her predecessor, Mr. Ahmad Turay, in recognition of her remarkable scholarly achievement.

Following her graduation success, Ms. Dumbuya, the MMTU Best Graduating Student for the 2025 Academic Year, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the First Lady of Republic of Sierra Leone, Fatima Jabbe Bio. 

During the visit, the First Lady commended her studiousness, ultimately culminating in national development, stating,

“Congratulations, My Lady. As a mother of this nation, I feel truly proud when our women excel and perform exceptionally in every sector.”
