The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education Conrad Sackey addressed pupils across Sierra Leone through a social media publication on his handle, as they began the Basic Education Certificate Examination.
Minister Sackey, who noted the thousands of students carrying the future of themselves and their families, reminded them of their assiduousness in their preparation and encouraged them to exhibit confidence in answering questions they encounter.
He commended supporting families and reminded the backbones of education, the teachers of their importance to the whole system.
He concluded by reposing confidence in all parties in the execution of their roles to national development.
