In observance of International Women’s Day, Marampa Mines Limited (MML) conducted a strategic educational outreach program for students of Our Lady of Guadalupe Secondary School, reinforcing the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and gender diversity.
The event served as a platform for meaningful mentorship, bridging the gap between industry professionals and the next generation of female leaders. Students engaged in high-level knowledge exchange with MML’s female workforce, gaining critical exposure to the technical and operational facets of the mining sector.
A central component of the engagement was a moderated panel discussion, which addressed rigorous academic requirements, career trajectories within STEM and mining, and the evolving landscape for women in historically male-dominated industries.
Specialized mentoring sessions provided students with actionable insights into professional development, emphasizing the core competencies and resilience necessary for success in global industrial operations.
To support their educational journey, MML provided the participants with comprehensive resource kits, including scholastic materials and essential wellness supplies. The program concluded with an operational site tour, offering a transparent view of MML’s value chain and the integral contributions of its female professionals.
Through this outreach, Marampa Mines Limited continues to invest in human capital and community development, fostering an environment where young women are empowered to pursue ambitious career paths and contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
