Mogbwemo Queens Achieve Pinnacle Position in Women's Premier League

Mogbwemo Queens secured a decisive 2-0 triumph over Mena Queens in their concluding home game of the first leg of the Sierra Leone Women's Premier League.

The reigning champions, boasting an undefeated home record since the 2022/2023 season, exhibited exceptional teamwork and coordination throughout the match.

Mariama Sembu scored the opening goal in the 53rd minute with an assist from Kadiatu M Kamara. She subsequently sealed the victory with a penalty goal in the 90th minute.

This dominant performance consolidates Mogbwemo Queens' position at the summit of the league table, where they have accrued 30 points and have scored an impressive 38 goals.

Their next challenge is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, when they travel to Kabala to face Albitaya Queens.
