Mogbwemo Queens Successfully Defend Sierra Leone Women's Premier League Title


Mogbwemo Queens have been crowned champions of the Sierra Leone Women's Premier League for the second consecutive season, establishing a new record.


Their dominance was evident in their emphatic 7-0 victory over Vem Buck FC in a rescheduled week 20 match at the Approved Field.



Salamatu J Kamara emerged as a shining star, notching a remarkable hat-trick and contributing an assist to her impressive performance. This stellar display earned her the well-deserved Woman of the Match award.


Captain Kadiatu M Kamara, recently returning from national team duty, played a vital role in the emphatic triumph. She orchestrated the attack with masterful precision, contributing four assists and a goal of her own.



Wuya Mohai, Rashida Kamara, and Fatmata Turay joined the goal-scoring party, further solidifying Mogbwemo Queens' dominant display.


Fatmata Turay's goal marked her fourth of the season.
