New SLFA Leadership Fosters Collaboration with National Sports Institutions

In efforts to strengthen national football, the newly elected President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Mr. Babadi Kamara, along with his Executive Committee, recently paid courtesy visits to the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ministry of Sports. 


These engagements underscore a concerted effort to foster stronger collaboration between the football governing body and key national sports institutions.




During their visit to the NSA, Mr. Kamara formally introduced his team and emphasized the critical role of partnership and transparency in advancing Sierra Leonean football. 


Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, Executive Director of the NSA, welcomed the delegation, pledging unwavering support and highlighting the importance of strategic planning, cooperation, and unity in sports development. 


He remarked on the need to embrace Football as a national passion to be managed with integrity and foresight.



Later, the SLFA delegation met with the Honourable Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, who extended heartfelt congratulations to the new leadership. 


She expressed the government's full support for the SLFA and its programs, committing to continuous collaboration for the benefit of both the sport and the nation.




SLFA President Kamara highlighted his vision for football transformation, stressing the need for unity and institutional support. 


This series of high-level engagements can be perceived as the beginning for the Kamara-led SLFA administration, a renewed era of cooperation and shared ambition within Sierra Leone's sports ecosystem.
