Sierra Leone's rising swimming star, Peter J. Bewie, is poised to make a splash at the Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Junior, Senior & Masters Swimming Championships, scheduled to take place from October 3rd to 5th, 2026, at the state-of-the-art Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, Ghana.


Bewie, affectionately known as "Baby Dolphin" for his remarkable speed and agility in the water, will represent his nation in the junior category. At just sixteen years old, he carries the hopes of Sierra Leone against a formidable lineup of the continent's most promising young aquatic talents.


The championship is set to be a thrilling spectacle, showcasing both emerging and established swimming prowess from across Africa. Bewie’s participation is a testament to Sierra Leone's growing presence and investment in the sport. 



His journey to this regional platform not only highlights his personal dedication and rigorous training but also underscores the country's commitment to nurturing its young athletes.
