Sierra Leone police have issued a wanted notice for popular musician Natasha Beckley, alleging her involvement in a drug manufacturing operation. Authorities believe the operation is housed within a three-story building, which they claim she owns.

This development was announced during the regular police press briefing at the Kingtom Police Officers Mess in Freetown on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.

Speaking to journalists, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Mohamed Kugba Allieu, Head of the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU), revealed that on May 13th of this year, police received intelligence indicating that a three-story building on Taylor Street was being used to produce "kush," a prohibited drug.

He further stated that investigations suggest the building is owned by Natasha Beckley, a well-known Sierra Leonean musician.

CSP Allieu added that the matter has been referred to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). He explained that, after six months, if the owner does not provide documentary evidence to substantiate their claim of ownership, the Sierra Leone Police, in collaboration with the NDLEA, plans to pursue court action to have the property seized.

Meanwhile, the wanted notice remains in force.
