President Bio Makes Four Key Government Board Appointments

His Excellency, President Brigadier General (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, has announced a series of key appointments to government boards, subject to parliamentary approval where required.

The appointments, aimed at strengthening governance and oversight in critical sectors, include:

1. Mrs. Neneh Daboh – Board Chairman, National Public Procurement Authority

2. Dr. Francis M. Kaikai – Board Member, Bank of Sierra Leone

3. Ms. Fatmata Deveh Khellah – Board Member, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank

4. Ms. Nematta Majeks-Walker – Board Member, Guma Valley Water Company

A public notice issued by the Office of the President emphasized that these appointments are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure competent leadership in public institutions and state-owned enterprises.

The newly appointed officials are expected to contribute their expertise toward promoting transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency in their respective institutions.
