PYD Awards Scholarships to 36 Pupils in Pujehun
Pujehun District Youth for Development (PYD) has awarded scholarships to 36 pupils from various schools in Pujehun Town to support their education.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the PYD office in Pujehun Town.
Speaking in an interview with Pujehun Daily News, PYD’s Research and Development Officer, Joseph EV Moore, disclosed that the organisation began providing scholarships to pupils in 2005.
According to Moore, the initiative reflects PYD’s commitment to promoting education and empowering young people in Pujehun District.
The scholarship support is expected to ease some of the educational challenges faced by the beneficiaries and encourage them to remain in school and pursue their academic goals.
