Rapper Natasha Beckley has denied allegations from the police regarding drug charges, stating she is currently at her residence.
She further asserted that the story is a deliberate attempt to undermine her, as she was at home in Freetown at 12:15 in the afternoon, having been woken by numerous concerned text messages.
Beckley clarified that the police have not been, nor are they currently, at her house, and they are not searching for her. She attributed the entire incident to her recently announced intention to pursue a political career, seeking the position of a district chair within the All People's Congress party.
She concluded by emphasizing that her primary income is derived from her work as an entertainer, which funds all her endeavors, rather than proceeds from drug trafficking.
