Referee Sulaiman Kamara Earns Historic WAFU B AFCON Qualifiers Appointment

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of FIFA Badge Referee Sulaiman Santio Kamara to officiate at the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.


The tournament is scheduled to take place from 26 July to 9 August 2026, with Kamara becoming the first Sierra Leonean referee to be selected to officiate at the WAFU B U-20 AFCON Qualifiers, marking a significant milestone for Sierra Leone football.


According to the SLFA, the appointment is a testament to Kamara’s professionalism, consistency, and impressive performances in both domestic and international competitions.
