Rodney Strasser Shows Support for Sierra Leone Cricket Team in Kigali

Former Sierra Leone international footballer and AC Milan midfielder Rodney Strasser has visited the Sierra Leone Senior Men’s Cricket Team in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of their crucial encounter against Uganda in the ongoing ILT20 Continental Cup.

Strasser visited the team at their Hilltop Hotel in Kigali on Monday, where he met with the players and technical team ahead of Tuesday’s fixture.

During the visit, the former Leone Stars midfielder encouraged the players to remain focused, disciplined and determined as they prepare to represent Sierra Leone at the continental competition.

Strasser also made a financial contribution to the team, offering additional support to the players ahead of their important encounter.

His visit provided a show of solidarity from one of Sierra Leone’s former international footballers and highlighted the importance of support and unity among athletes across different sporting disciplines.

The Sierra Leone cricket team will face Uganda on Tuesday as they continue their campaign in the ILT20 Continental Cup, with the squad hoping to secure a positive result.

Strasser’s visit comes as Sierra Leone’s athletes continue to represent the country across different sporting disciplines on the international stage.
