Sierra Leone’s young swimming sensation, Peter J. Bewie, has delivered an impressive performance at the ongoing Africa Aquatics Zone II Championship in Accra, Ghana.

Competing on October 4, 2025, Bewie took part in the 50-meter breaststroke event, finishing with a remarkable time of 39.06 seconds to secure second place in the competition.
His achievement represents another milestone in his budding career and underscores Sierra Leone’s growing presence in continental aquatic sports.
