SLFA Announces Appointment of New Finance Director

The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Patricia Alpha Barrie as the Association’s new Finance Director, effective immediately.

In a public notice issued by the Association, the SLFA informed the general public, football stakeholders, partners, and members of the football family that Mrs. Barrie will now oversee the financial operations of the country’s football governing body.

According to the Executive Committee, Mrs. Barrie brings a wealth of experience in financial management, administration, and institutional governance to the role. Her appointment is said to form part of the Association’s broader efforts to strengthen its financial systems, enhance transparency, and promote prudent resource management within Sierra Leone’s football sector.

The Committee expressed full confidence in her competence and professionalism, noting that her leadership is expected to reinforce accountability and efficiency in the financial management of the Association.

The SLFA also extended congratulations to Mrs. Patricia Alpha Barrie on her appointment and expressed optimism that she will successfully discharge her duties in advancing the financial integrity and sustainability of the institution.
