The Sierra Leone Football Association has ended a fruitful engagement with senior officials from the West Africa Football Union(WAFU) Madame Fatou Ndong Assistant Secretary and Mohamed Jiddou Coordinator from the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone-A, both of whom are in Sierra Leone for a three-day working visit.
At the height of the fruitful deliberations, succinct pathways were mapped out in preparation for this year's under-20 Female Tournament to be contested in Bo and Kenema respectively.

The tournament is expected to take place from Monday the 22nd May to Saturday the 3rd June, 2023.

Sierra Leone as the country that hosted the First ever WAFU 'A' Women's Championship in 2020 for eight teams in both Bo and Makeni, is no stranger when it comes to such competitions and it is hoped that a repeat of such hosting, will occur.
