The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, held his inaugural official meeting with the newly constituted SLFA Organising Committee. The President immediately tasked the committee with the execution of the FA Cup while broadly outlining its responsibilities across all SLFA competitions.

The meeting, conducted at the SLFA Secretariat, focused on strategic planning and coordination for the FA Cup, alongside a review of the committee's crucial role in overseeing and advising on other major SLFA-organised tournaments and events.

President Kamara stressed the importance of professionalism, transparency, and effective coordination. He noted that the Organising Committee is vital not only for delivering the FA Cup but also for advising the Executive Committee on the organisation of the Men’s and Women’s Premier Leagues, Division One and Two leagues, playoffs, and other significant SLFA events.

On behalf of the members, the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Abdul Osman Turay, expressed gratitude for the President’s leadership and pledged the committee's full commitment to executing its mandate and ensuring the successful delivery of all assigned competitions.
