SLP Lead Community Cleaning Exercise in Waterloo

Officers from the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) conducted a targeted monthly sanitation exercise across Waterloo on Saturday, October 24, 2026, aimed at improving public health and community safety.
The regular cleanup initiative forms part of a broader force-wide effort to support local community development. Beyond removing waste and hazards, police leadership stated the initiative aims to inspire residents to take greater personal ownership of their immediate environment.
Community leaders and police representatives emphasized that strong civic cooperation is essential for sustaining long-term public health standards and building safer, cleaner neighborhoods across the municipality.
