SLPP Deputy Chairman Predicts Party’s Victory in 2028 Elections

Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Deputy Chairman Robert Kondema Kargbo has predicted that the party will win the 2028 general elections, citing President Julius Maada Bio’s reforms across key sectors as the basis for his confidence.

Speaking on ECKO Media, Kargbo declared, “We’ll win the elections again in 2028,” expressing confidence that the party’s record in government would help it retain power.

He cited reforms in education, health, infrastructure, and agriculture, alongside efforts to promote peace and harmony and initiatives targeting market women, as areas where he believes the Bio administration has made significant progress.

Karabo's remarks underscore the SLPP’s confidence in its record in government as it looks towards the 2028 polls. However, the party’s electoral prospects will ultimately depend on voters’ decisions at the ballot box.

His prediction adds to the political debate surrounding the Bio administration’s performance and the issues expected to shape the campaign ahead of the next general elections.
