SLPP Issues Guidelines for Executive Elections

The Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) has released guidelines for participants in their executive elections, aiming to promote a peaceful democratic process throughout all districts.

In a statement issued yesterday, the SLPP outlined four critical areas: submission of delegate lists, application for positions, support organizations, and the appointment of Returning Officers.

Members are urged to submit their regional and district chairman delegate lists and position applications to headquarters, with copies distributed nationwide. Support organizations are reminded to pay their conference fees of ten thousand by the deadline set for Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The statement also notes that the national Chairman will appoint national officers to supervise the elections, with the names to be announced by June 20, 2025.
