The initial loan deal, finalized earlier this year, involved a significant payment from the MLS club to Mattia FC to secure the player's temporary services and the essential right to make the transfer permanent in December. “Momoh is an exciting young player with a natural aptitude for the game and a proven ability to generate scoring opportunities against opponents,” a club representative stated upon his initial arrival. His subsequent performance during the loan spell with MNUFC2 in MLS NEXT Pro, culminating in four goals and two assists across 14 appearances, firmly validated this assessment and led to a straightforward decision for the club’s leadership regarding the permanent acquisition.

Momoh Kamara's professional trajectory has been one of swift progress. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who was born in Kambia Town and developed in Freetown's East End, started his foundational career at Mattia FC.
