Star Sport Academy Delegation Arrives in Istanbul for Talks with Beşiktaş

A high-powered delegation from Star Sport Academy has arrived safely in Istanbul, Turkey, to finalise a football partnership agreement with Turkish giants Beşiktaş.

The delegation is led by Chairman and Founder, Ing. Yankuba Jusu Tarawally, alongside Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Jusu Tarawally. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening international collaboration and creating development opportunities for the academy’s players.

According to reports, the trip follows a series of high-level discussions initiated in February between Star Sport Academy officials and representatives of Beşiktaş, which laid the groundwork for the ongoing negotiations.

The current visit represents the final stage of talks, with expectations that the agreement will enhance player development, international exposure, and potential pathways for player transitions between Sierra Leone and Turkey.

Stakeholders say the partnership could boost the academy’s international profile while also contributing to the development of football structures in Sierra Leone.
