Fourah Bay College (FBC) student Edwina H. Jamiru has generated significant online commentary following the release of a video containing serious allegations against First Lady Fatima Bio and politician Dr. Sylvia Blyden.
In the widely circulated video, Ms. Jamiru asserts that both prominent women represent poor role models for the nation and are unsuitable for national leadership.
Ms. Jamiru detailed that the basis of her grievance stems from a personal dispute with Momoh Jah Stevens, alleging that he caused her considerable distress.
She further claimed that, contrary to providing support, the First Lady intervened on behalf of Mr. Stevens, leading to Ms. Jamiru’s subsequent arrest.
Ms. Jamiru characterized the First Lady's alleged actions as "malicious" and accused both Madame Bio and Dr. Blyden of public hypocrisy regarding their purported support for women’s rights.
Edwina H. Jamiru issued a firm public warning cautioning against the potential presidencies of Fatima Bio or Sylvia Blyden. She contended that the ascent of either woman to power would result in significant national hardship and suffering for the citizens of Sierra Leone.
