Tottenham Dwazark defeated Odokoko Community 2-0 to win the 7th edition of the Portuguese Town Amateur Football Association (POTAFA) Community League on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The match was played at the School League playing field on Ferguson Street in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Tottenham scored in both halves to secure the victory. Defender David Spencer opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a long-range strike. Midfielder Umaru Koroma doubled Tottenham's lead in the 60th minute with a shot from outside the Odokoko goal area.
Odokoko Community had a few chances to score, but they were unable to convert. Tottenham Dwazark goalkeeper Hassan Turay made a number of crucial saves to keep a clean sheet.
After the match, Tottenham Dwazark Captain Umaru Koroma said: "We are very happy to have won the Potafa Community League. It is a prestigious trophy and we are proud to have won it for our fans. We played well today and we deserved to win."
Tottenham Dwazark's victory was celebrated by their fans, who gathered at the School League playing field in Freetown to cheer on their team. The fans sang and danced as Tottenham Dwazark lifted the trophy.
