Two Remanded Over Alleged Conspiracy to Commit Murder

Two individuals, identified as Haja Massagoui and Ismail Denis Conteh, have been remanded in custody after appearing in court on charges of conspiracy to commit murder.

The two accused were arraigned in connection with an alleged incident that reportedly occurred on July 26, 2026, at Kamager/Kam in Freetown.

According to the particulars of the offence, Massagoui and Conteh are alleged to have conspired to commit murder, contrary to provisions of the Offences Against the Person Act, 1861.

Police investigations reportedly led to the arrest of both suspects, who were subsequently brought before the court to answer to the allegations.

Following their appearance, the court ordered that the accused be remanded in custody pending further proceedings.

The matter was adjourned to September 9, 2026, for the next hearing.

Both accused remain presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by a competent court.
