Sierra Leone’s U19 Men’s Cricket Team delivered a masterclass performance on Wednesday, storming to an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Mozambique in the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Mozambique struggled to find any momentum against Sierra Leone's relentless attack, eventually being bowled out for just 89 runs in 23.5 overs.
The Junior Patriots wasted no time in their chase, aggressively knocking off the target to reach 93 runs in just 13 overs and seal a commanding win.
The triumph highlights individual brilliance across the squad.
