Miss Sierra Leone 2025, Lachaeveh Davies, has announced a temporary step back from the pageant spotlight following her representation of Sierra Leone at Miss Supranational 2026.
In an open letter of gratitude, Davies shared that she will use this period to focus on her personal development and complete her master’s degree, emphasizing that her break does not mean stepping away from her ongoing title responsibilities.
Reflecting on her journey from Miss Freetown to national titleholder, Davies expressed profound appreciation to her family, mentors, designers, media platforms, and religious leaders who supported her along the way.
She specifically highlighted key institutions, including the University of Makeni (UNIMAK), the Miss Sierra Leone Organization, the Miss Freetown Organization, and various government ministries and corporate partners for their guidance, wardrobe contributions, and unwavering encouragement.
Looking ahead, Davies plans to leverage her international pageant experience to empower the next generation of aspiring queens.
She aims to provide training, encouragement, and mentorship to young Sierra Leonean women seeking to represent the nation on global stages.
Reassuring the public that this transition represents growth rather than an ending, Davies thanked Sierra Leoneans worldwide for their support, affirming her commitment to honoring her current duties while preparing for future initiatives.
