SLPHA Unveils Jerseys for 2026 Tournament
Ahead of their opening match, the management of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) officially unveiled new jerseys for the 2026 Inter-Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) Football Championship.
The unveiling ceremony for the "Waterfront Boys" was led by Board Chairman Hon. Manso Dumbuya, Director General Yankuba Askia Bio, and Deputy Director General Judith Kosseh, alongside Authority directors and staff members.
Addressing the team, Director General Bio urged match coordinators and the technical team to ensure thorough preparation, emphasizing that the competition must be taken seriously.
“It used to be a comic league, but not anymore. As your team captain, I want nothing besides that trophy,” Bio stated, calling on the squad to demonstrate their full footballing prowess on the pitch.
The Waterfront Boys will kick off their campaign against the Office of the President on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the National Stadium Practicing Field at 6:00 PM.
