Kanneh brings more than two decades of experience within the NRA, having joined the Authority in 2004 as a Collector and rising through several positions of increasing responsibility.

He previously served as Commissioner of the Customs Services Department, where he provided strategic leadership in customs administration, revenue collection, border control operations and trade facilitation.

He later served as Senior Director of the Staff Welfare Department, further broadening his experience in the administration and management of the Authority.

The NRA’s Board, senior management and staff have congratulated Kanneh on his appointment and wished him success as he assumes leadership of the Authority.

His appointment marks another stage in a career spanning more than two decades at the NRA and through several senior positions.
