Telecommunications provider Africell Sierra Leone has formally presented a brand-new house to a subscriber, marking the culmination of its Jubilee Jumbo Promotion, which celebrated the company's 25th anniversary of operations across Africa.

The prestigious grand prize was awarded on Friday, January 9, 2026, to Amidu Kamara, a subscriber hailing from Kabala. Mr. Kamara was identified as the overall winner of the promotion. The residence is situated within the TAF Salone Micro City, a modern residential development located on the outskirts of Freetown.

The Jubilee Jumbo Promotion featured a substantial array of prizes, including daily cash rewards and weekly giveaways such as motorcycles, generators, Samsung smartphones, and cash prizes reaching up to NLe 25,000. The ultimate award for the promotion was the newly constructed house at TAF Salone Micro City.

Africell representatives characterized the house presentation as a tangible expression of gratitude toward the subscribers who have consistently supported the network. They further noted that the promotion underscores the company’s sustained commitment to creating a positive societal impact beyond its core telecommunications services.

Shadi Al-Gerjawi, CEO of Africell Sierra Leone, confirmed that the winner holds unrestricted ownership rights to the property. “There are no conditions attached,” Mr. Al-Gerjawi stated. “The owner is entitled to rent, sell, or utilize the house as they deem fit; we impose no restrictions on its disposition.”

Expressing profound excitement upon receiving the keys, Amidu Kamara described the win as a transformative, life-changing event. He conveyed his appreciation for the opportunity and his pride in representing subscribers from the northern region of Sierra Leone.

Africell Sierra Leone extended its appreciation to all customers who participated in the promotion, reiterating its dedication to implementing customer-focused initiatives as it commemorates 25 years of service throughout Africa.
