NASSIT East Begins Thanksgiving at Kenema Ahmadiyya Mosque

The National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Kenema Region, commenced its Annual Thanksgiving Activities by joining the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Mosque in Kenema for Jummah (Friday) prayers.


A delegation of NASSIT staff attended the prayers, where they were accorded a cordial reception by the members and Executive of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. This collaboration underscores the strong mutual respect and unity between NASSIT and the local Muslim community.


Imam Marvin Sahib Mustapha, the Resource Imam, led the sacred prayers and delivered a profound sermon focused on goodness, faith, and righteousness, stressing the importance of moral responsibility and spiritual development.




Following the prayers, Mr. Sovula Bindi Saffa, the Regional Deputy Manager – East, extended greetings on behalf of the Director General, Mr. Daboh. He expressed sincere appreciation to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat for their hospitality and consistent support, commending the Jamaat’s leadership for its commitment to spiritual guidance, peace, and community cohesion. He further encouraged the congregation to continue supporting NASSIT in fulfilling its national mandate.


The NASSIT delegation, led by Mr. Sovula Bindi Saffa, formally presented an envelope and a yearly NASSIT calendar to the Ahmadiyya Mission as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation.


The Annual Thanksgiving Service is scheduled to continue on Sunday at the United Church of Assurance in Kenema, bringing together staff and stakeholders for reflection and gratitude.




The event concluded with special prayers offered for all NASSIT personnel nationwide, seeking divine guidance, protection, and sustained success in their service to the nation.
