APC Aspirant Jagaban Donates Over Le 1.1 Billion for Northwest Office

Sheikh Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, a flagbearer aspirant of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party, known as Jagaban, made a substantial financial contribution of NLe 1,187,500 in Masiaka, Port Loko District. The funds are designated for the extension and enhancement of the APC Northwest Regional Party Office (Bai Bureh Hall). This donation underscores his commitment to the party's development in preparation for the 2028 elections.
In a display of inclusivity, Jagaban also donated NLe 200,000 to various churches and a mosque in Masiaka, promoting a message of unity and peaceful coexistence across different faiths.
The contribution was formally accepted by key APC officials, including the Northwest Regional Chairman, Hon. Kombo Kamara; Port Loko District Chairman, Mr. Alie Summah; Kambia District Chairman, Dr. Adikali Sesay; and Karene District Chairman, Mr. Amadu Bangura. The event was positively received by party members and supporters.
During his address, Jagaban emphasized Sierra Leone's need for transformation, asserting that he possesses the necessary vision and financial resources to implement significant change. He stressed that financial capacity is critical for effective political mobilization, party rebuilding, and the APC's return to governance.
He called for party unity, rejecting factionalism, and pledged to work inclusively with existing party structures if elected. Jagaban also acknowledged the contributions of former President Ernest Bai Koroma and reiterated his commitment to the Northwest Region.
The event concluded with the presentation of an Award of Recognition to Jagaban for his leadership and humanitarian efforts.
