APC in Mourning as National Chairman Minkailu Mansaray Passes Away

The All People’s Congress (APC) is in mourning following reports of the death of its National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray.


According to multiple party and media sources, Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray passed away on Monday15th June 2026. However, official confirmation from his family and the party is still pending.


Mansaray, a senior figure within the opposition All People’s Congress, previously held several key government positions, including Minister of Labour and Minister of Mines. He later rose to become National Chairman of the party, a position he held up to the time of his reported death.


Throughout his political career, he was regarded as a central figure in the APC’s internal leadership structure and played an influential role in party decision-making and organization.


News of his reported passing has triggered widespread shock among party supporters and political observers across Sierra Leone, with tributes expected once official statements are released.
