APC Targets 2028 Election Victory to Honor Late Chairman

The Minority Leader of Parliament, Hon. Abdul Kargbo, has formally declared the All People's Congress (APC) intention to honor the legacy of the late National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, by securing a definitive victory in the 2028 general elections. This objective is positioned as a primary motivation for the party's upcoming political cycle.

In a recent interview with Liberty Online TV, Hon. Kargbo characterized the late chairman as a foundational figure whose service provided significant institutional value to the APC. He emphasized that the party's mandate extends beyond the current period of bereavement to encompass the strategic preparation required for the next national electoral contest.

According to the Minority Leader, the APC is committed to a broader objective of national governance. "Our obligation is to ensure national progress through an electoral victory in 2028. This achievement will be dedicated to the memory of Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray in recognition of his extensive dedication to the organization," Hon. Kargbo stated.

Furthermore, Hon. Kargbo noted that while current efforts are focused on funeral proceedings, the APC is simultaneously engaged in reinforcing its internal structures. These organizational enhancements are intended to position the party for future electoral success, with preparatory discussions currently occurring across various leadership tiers.

The death of Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray has been widely mourned by APC supporters and political stakeholders, many of whom have described him as a loyal and influential figure in the party's leadership.

As the APC continues to mourn the loss of its National Chairman, party leaders say his legacy will serve as a source of inspiration as they work toward their political goals in the years ahead.
