APC to Elect National Executives and Flagbearer Before End of 2026 - Minkailu Koroma

APC Publicity Secretariat member Minkailu P. Koroma has stated that the All People’s Congress (APC) intends to elect its national executive members and presidential flagbearer before the end of 2026.

Speaking on Slik TV, Koroma said the opposition party is committed to completing its internal leadership processes ahead of the next general elections.

“2026 will not go by without us having our national executive members,” he said, adding that the party also plans to elect its presidential flagbearer within the same period.

He explained that the APC aims to ensure its structures are fully in place ahead of future electoral activities and preparations for the 2028 general elections.

“The next set of general elections, we should have elected our flagbearer that will be our candidate in the next elections,” Koroma stated.

He noted that while members may have individual political ambitions, loyalty to the party remains essential.

“Everybody has interest, but the loyal thing is to the party,” he said.

Koroma urged party supporters to rally behind whoever emerges as the APC presidential candidate.

“Whosoever emerges as flagbearer, that is the interest of the party,” he added.

The APC is expected to intensify internal consultations and organisational preparations as attention shifts toward its leadership selection process ahead of the 2028 general elections.
