Bhantal Football Club has officially confirmed the conclusion of Head Coach Ibrahim Sillah's tenure. His departure comes only months after his appointment, which was intended to lead the club through its inaugural continental campaign.
The club has characterized the decision as a "mutual agreement." This change in technical leadership follows a period of disappointing results within the Leone Rock Premier League. Despite significant expectations driven by the club's successive runner-up finishes, recent domestic performance necessitated a re-evaluation of the coaching direction by the management.
Coach Sillah, a highly regarded CAF License A coach, joined the club in August 2025 on a two-year contract. His primary mandate was to guide Bhantal FC during their debut in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they faced Guinean side Hafia FC.
While Coach Sillah brought a wealth of experience from previous roles at East End Lions, FC Johansen, and the Sierra Leone U-20 national team, the club's domestic results ultimately failed to sustain the competitive momentum established in prior seasons
