Bo Rangers won the Leone Rock Premier League Community Shield for the first time in their history, defeating Mighty Blackpool 1-0 in the final on Saturday at the Southern arena. Saidu Bah scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute.
Bo Rangers controlled possession for large periods of the match and created a number of chances, but they had to be patient to break down a resolute Mighty Blackpool defense.
They finally got their reward when Bah scored a spectacular goal. Mighty Blackpool tried to get back into the game in the latter stages, but they were unable to create any clear-cut chances.
In the end, Bo Rangers were worthy winners and they will now be looking to build on this success and challenge for the Leone Rock Premier League title this season.
