Brookfields Mosque Benefits from Le30 Million Donation by Jagaban

All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, has donated Le30 million to Masjid Salaam in Brookfields following Jumu’ah prayers, reaffirming his support for religious institutions and community development.
The donation was made on Friday, 3 July 2026, after he joined Muslim worshippers for congregational prayers at the mosque, where he was received by members of the congregation and community residents.
During the gathering, Chief Imam Sheikh Alhaji Ahmad Bah welcomed Jagaban and commended him for sponsoring Alhaji Sama-Saray Pawo Ballay Kamara to perform the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca. He described the gesture as an act of generosity and prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, protection, and success for him.
Addressing the congregation, Jagaban expressed gratitude to the Chief Imam and worshippers for the reception and announced the donation of Le30 million in support of the mosque’s activities and development.
“I want to thank the Chief Imam, Sheikh Alhaji Ahmad Bah, and the entire congregation for the warm welcome. On behalf of Alhaji Sama-Saray Pawo Ballay Kamara, whom I sponsored for the Hajj pilgrimage, I am pleased to present a donation of Le30 million to Masjid Salaam to support the work of the mosque,” he said.
Members of the congregation welcomed the donation, describing it as a contribution toward strengthening the mosque’s activities.
The visit forms part of Jagaban’s ongoing engagement with religious communities, where he has emphasized faith, unity, and community support alongside broader development efforts.
