Bullom Star FC secured a notable 2–1 victory against Freetown City FC in a closely contested match held at the Approved School Field.

The visitors commenced the fixture with intensity, establishing an early two-goal advantage within the initial 18 minutes. Momoh Bangura initiated the scoring in the 11th minute, converting a pass from Ibrahim Kamara. Bangura completed his brace just seven minutes later, capitalizing on an assist from Abu Daud Turay to give Bullom Star a commanding lead.

Freetown City FC managed to halve the deficit before the interval. In the 39th minute, Alfred Mbayo registered a goal for the home side with a composed finish, following a precise assist from Tunde Zubairu, reigniting their prospects heading into halftime.

The second half was characterized by a tenacious midfield battle. Freetown City FC pressed persistently for an equaliser but encountered significant resistance from a well-organised Bullom Star defence. The match officials issued several cautions: Alfred Mbayo, Aruna Kamara, and Abu Bakarr Timbo were booked for the hosts, while Facinet Sylla and Abu Daud Turay received yellow cards for the visiting team.

Despite late pressure from Freetown City FC, Bullom Star FC maintained their composure to claim all three points, with Momoh Bangura's decisive early goals proving to be the difference.
