The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe, conducted a high-level diplomatic meeting with the President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, in Dakar.


This collaborative session convened prominent leaders in African sports and governance, emphasizing the critical role of institutional cooperation in fostering football excellence and development throughout the continent.


The delegation included Senegal’s Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture, Khady Diène Gaye, senior representatives from the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), including First Vice-President Abdoulaye Fall, and CAF Acting General Secretary Samson Adamu.


The proceedings highlight CAF’s strategic commitment to partnering with national governments to enhance sporting infrastructure, strengthen governance frameworks, and accelerate the professional growth of football across all member nations.
