Chrispin Ekundayo George Named CSL General Manager After Achieving Key Milestones

The Board of Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) has formally appointed Chrispin Ekundayo George as the new General Manager, recognising his remarkable achievements during his seven-month tenure as Acting General Manager. George set himself apart by achieving 16 development-focused goals, making him the leading candidate among three shortlisted individuals after a competitive interview process conducted via Zoom.

George will initially serve under a six-month performance-based contract, with the possibility of an extended appointment contingent upon meeting predefined benchmarks.


During his acting tenure, Chrispin Ekundayo George notably enhanced operations at Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL), achieving 16 key milestones that culminated in his official appointment as General Manager. His initiatives encompassed optimizing office spaces, restructuring departments, improving staff punctuality, and upgrading the scoreboard to meet international standards.

Furthermore, George concentrated on improving playing conditions by reactivating essential equipment such as the roller and initiating efforts to level the pitch. He also conducted a four-day provincial tour to gather important data, demonstrating his commitment to the organisation's broader development.


These achievements positioned him as the leading candidate for the permanent role.
