Cleaner Faces Charges of Conspiracy and Theft in Wilberforce

A cleaner, Aiah Jimissa, has been remanded to the Male Correctional Facility after appearing before Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No. 2 to face charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and larceny. 


The charges stem from an incident in Wilberforce where Jimissa allegedly stole items valued at 2,240 Leones from the complainant, Aminata Magona.


The particulars of the offence state that on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, at Main Road, Wilberforce, the defendant conspired with unknown individuals to commit larceny by trick. 



Furthermore, Jimissa is accused of stealing, by trick, an Itel mobile phone, a charger, a bowl, and other assorted items on the same date and location.


When the charges were read, the defendant entered a not-guilty plea.


Prosecuting the case, Detective Police Constable 18235 Thoronka K.K. requested an adjournment to present the first witness. Bail was denied by Magistrate Samura, and the matter has been adjourned until 23rd October 2025.
