The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has formally announced the lifting of the administrative suspension previously imposed on Fatmata Turay, Head Coach of the Sierra Leone U-17 Women’s National Team, effective immediately.

This decision follows a comprehensive review by the SLFA Technical Committee. The committee conducted a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the initial disciplinary action.

Upon evaluating the committee’s findings and recommendations, the SLFA issued a formal warning to Coach Turay. The Association confirmed that no further disciplinary actions will be pursued regarding this matter.

Reinstated to her full capacity, Coach Turay is expected to resume her duties immediately. Her primary objective is the commencement of training camps in preparation for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Ivory Coast, slated for next month.

The SLFA reaffirmed that this resolution underscores its dedication to transparency, accountability, and the professional advancement of football within the nation.
