Coach Kanneh Awarded Prestigious CAF B License Certificate
Mohamed Kanneh, Youth Team Coach at Star Sports Academy, has officially been presented with his CAF B License Coaching Certificate, a feat in his professional coaching career.
Coach Kanneh began his managerial journey leading FC Kallon’s U14 boys before relocating to Bo to join TTS Football Club. His successful tenure at TTS, highlighted by multiple trophy wins, earned him the recognition of Best Coach in the Southern Region in 2016.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development, Kanneh secured his CAF C License in 2014 and successfully earned his CAF B License the following year.
In 2016, Kanneh transitioned to Rutile to take charge of Limo Football Club. During his debut season, he guided Limo to the 2017/18 National Play-Offs, where they narrowly missed advancement following a 1-0 defeat against SLIFA.
He subsequently assumed management of Rutile Rangers, leading them to the National Play-Offs as well. Following the conclusion of his tenure with Rutile Rangers, Kanneh joined Kenema-based Frances FC before a brief stint with Empere Foundation following their play-off loss to Abacha City. He later returned to Frances FC for a second spell.
Bringing extensive experience accumulated across the country, Coach Mohamed Kanneh currently serves on the coaching staff of the Star Sports Academy Youth Team, where he continues to mentor and develop emerging talent.
