CSL is poised to transform the landscape of cricket in Sierra Leone

The ongoing FBC cricket project, upon completion of Phase One, will equip Cricket Sierra Leone with two international-standard playing grounds and thirty (30) outdoor cricket practice nets.

Phase Two of the project is slated for the construction of state-of-the-art indoor cricket facilities, a high-performance hub, modern dressing rooms, a spectators' pavilion, parking areas, and ancillary amenities.

These comprehensive facilities are designed to significantly enhance player safety, skill development, performance, and the overall enjoyment and sustainability of cricket in Sierra Leone. Furthermore, the infrastructure will adhere to international standards, ensure fair competition, and foster a thriving national cricket community.

This ambitious project will signal Sierra Leone's return to hosting international cricket tournaments, including ICC events and bilateral series, marking an end to a twenty-year absence from the global stage.

Facility infrastructural development has been identified as one of the five core strategic priorities for the current board, led by Chairman Francis Trevor Samura.

This undertaking is expected to fundamentally elevate the profile and trajectory of cricket within Sierra Leone.
