Daru Community Appeals for Information on Missing Finance Officer

The Ndomakeh Federation and residents of Daru in Jawei Chiefdom, Kailahun District, have appealed to the public for information regarding the whereabouts of Finance Officer, Mr. Sallu Moina Kanneh, who was reportedly declared missing earlier last week.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Kanneh left his home in Daru at about 5:00 a.m. on 11 March 2026 to observe early morning prayers but has not been seen since.

Family members and community leaders have expressed growing concern over his disappearance and are calling on anyone with credible information to assist in locating him.

The matter has since been reported to the police at the Daru Police Station, and investigations are currently ongoing.

Relatives of the missing finance officer, together with the leadership of the Ndomakeh Federation, are urging members of the public to come forward with any useful information that may help trace his whereabouts.
