ERFA Organises Four-Day E-Coaching Course for Kono Coaches
The Technical Department of the Eastern Region Football Association (ERFA) has organised a four-day E-Coaching Course in Koidu City, Kono District, to strengthen the coaching knowledge and skills of grassroots coaches.
On Thursday, September 24, 2026, 32 coaches from across Kono District converged in Koidu City to participate in the training and gain additional coaching knowledge.
The E-Coaching Course serves as a preliminary stage for grassroots coaches seeking to advance their coaching qualifications. Upon completion of the course, coaches will be eligible to apply for the CAF D Diploma Coaching Course.
ERFA Technical Director Coach Fanday encouraged participants to remain disciplined and take the training seriously.
The Vice Chairman of the Kono District Football Association, alongside members of the executive, also encouraged the coaches to remain attentive and ensure that the knowledge acquired during the training is put into practice.
The training, facilitated by Coach Fanday and Coach Mikael, will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of coaching.
The initiative forms part of efforts under Sierra Leone Football Association President Babadi Kamara’s administration to strengthen the technical capacity of coaches across the country.
Similar training sessions are expected to be held in Kenema and Kailahun districts.
