FBC Refutes Rumours of Bicentenary Celebration Cancellation

The University of Sierra Leone has officially refuted reports circulating on social media which claim that Fourah Bay College cancelled its upcoming bicentenary celebrations due to funding constraints.

Speaking to Truth Media, Dr. Tonya Musa, the University’s Director of Communications, dismissed the reports as "fake news" and urged the public to disregard the claims entirely.

Dr. Musa clarified that the document being shared online regarding the alleged cancellation was unauthorized and did not originate from the administration of Fourah Bay College.

With this clarification, the University aims to dispel the ongoing rumours and reassure the public that plans for the bicentenary celebrations remain on track.
