Former SLFA President Daddy Brima Labels Mohamed Kallon’s Dismissal as “Witch-Hunt

The former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima (widely known as TDB), has criticized the recent dismissal of Leone Stars legend and former Head Coach Mohamed Kallon, describing the decision as a “witch-hunt.”

Speaking during a live programme on Radio Democracy 98.1, Brima questioned the circumstances surrounding Kallon’s departure, arguing that the termination was not based on professional performance or contractual considerations.

“The sacking of Mohamed Kallon has nothing to do with the contract agreement,” Brima said, suggesting that other factors influenced the decision.

His remarks have generated widespread discussion within Sierra Leone’s football community. Kallon, a former Inter Milan striker and one of the country’s most celebrated football figures, has had a long-standing and sometimes complex relationship with football authorities.

As of now, the SLFA has not publicly responded to Brima’s allegations. The comments have intensified debate over transparency and decision-making within the administration of Sierra Leonean football.

The situation continues to attract public attention as stakeholders and fans await further clarification from the football governing body.
