Seeking to boost the ongoing Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Secretariat construction, HADA FC today presented a generous donation of $2,000, earmarked for the purchase of 300 bags of cement.

King David Kargbo, Country Director of HADA FC, personally delivered the substantial contribution at the SLFA Secretariat on Friday morning. Kargbo emphasized that this initial gesture is merely the first step in his club's commitment to football development.

"We plan to do more to help develop the game. We are here to promote football and anyone involved in it," he stated, highlighting HADA FC's dedication to nurturing the sport.

SLFA President Babadi Kamara expressed profound gratitude for HADA FC's timely intervention, describing it as an uncommon act of support within Sierra Leonean football.

"This support shows your commitment to the growth of the game. Football is a channel for peace and progress, and your partnership will help us build a better society," Kamara remarked, underscoring the broader impact of such collaborations.

President Kamara assured that the funds would be utilized precisely for their intended purpose, instructing the Finance Manager to immediately deposit the money into the SLFA account.

He also seized the opportunity to call for greater unity within the football fraternity, stressing that collective hard work and collaboration are paramount to elevating Sierra Leone to an admired footballing nation in Africa.

Following the presentation, President Babadi inspected the ongoing work at the Secretariat, engaging directly with the engineers to assess the progress made thus far.
